Please adhere to our new policies set in place regarding COVID-19:

  • No athlete should present with signs or symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 14 days.

  • If an athlete has had a documented case of COVID-19, the athlete needs a note from a medical professional clearing the athlete for participation.

  • We are requesting that only current Blaine wrestlers participate in our camp to minimize risks of introduction of COVID-19 into the training group.


  • Wrestlers must be dropped off and picked up.

  • Parents will not be allowed to stay due to group size limitations.

  • Athletes will need to check in with coach where they will be assessed for symptoms including a temperature check.

  • Should an athlete present with any symptoms, the parent/guardian will be called to pick up athlete.


  • Athletes will use designated area for switching shoes. Spots will be 6ft apart to maintain social distancing. 

  • All gear is to remain inside athlete's personal bag.

  • Athletes will sanitize hands before training.

  • Athletes will be assigned a pod of 4, self included.

  • These pods will be given their own spot on the mat to reduce spread of germs.

  • There will be no sharing of clothes, shoes, drinks.

  • Water fountains will be unavailable. PLEASE BRING OWN WATER BOTTLE.


  • Athletes should collect all gear and trash.

  • Athletes will sanitize hands at the completion of training.

  • Athletes must shower after each training session.

  • Athletes should clean all equipment after each training session.

  • Coaches will sanitize mats before and after each training session.

  • Athletes should meet their parents/guardians outside for pickup

Financial Assistance

Fee assistance can be requested by families who have students currently receiving free or reduced lunch through Anoka-Hennepin Schools or have a financial hardship. Please contact Booster Club Treasurer or Booster Club President  prior to completing registration. Confidentiality will be protected. 

How to Register

Click on the Register button in the top right corner of the portal to login/create an account. If you are new to the club, fill out the Create New Account section on the login screen. If your username/password combination is accepted, you'll see the screen below. Select one of the images for the appropriate registration.

Fill out the Account Holder Information section.  The programs available for your athlete will be listed. 

  • Select the appropriate number of players, then begin filling out their registration information
  • Please be sure to select the appropriate Date of Birth - this parameter decides which programs/divisions are available for registration

After entering Player Information, select the appropriate available activity

  • Players are eligible for Programs/Divisions based on the settings configured by your league. If you aren't seeing the appropriate Program/Division, please check your player's Date Of Birth, then reach out to your league directly for more assistance.

Existing User Instructions:

After logging in, click the Available Programs button next to the appropriate player to register a player. If you need to add another athlete to your account? Click the 3 white dots in the participant banner of your current athlete, add the required information, and choose an available program.


Finally, review your Order Summary and Submit your Order

Credit Card charges will appear on your statement will appear as "Blue Sombrero Sport Reg"

**If your child is not registered (paid in full), s/he will NOT be allowed to practice.**

AH Community Education

Middle School Athletics

Middle school athletic programs are coordinated by Anoka-Hennepin Community Education. Sports are supervised and led by certified coaches, licensed teachers and/or knowledgeable staff who emphasize skill development, participation, teamwork, leadership, social growth, sportsmanship and respect for others.

Sports Qualifying Physical

Students must have a sports qualifying physical (valid for three years from the date of the exam) on file to participate in middle school athletic programs. Immunizations and well child check-ups are not the same as a physical. The form is available online or may be picked up at your schools' community education or health office.

Equipment and Uniforms

Equipment and uniforms are provided for most sports. Students are responsible for lost, damaged or stolen uniforms. Blaine Wrestling Takedown Club will provide students with a singlet and/or a two-piece uniform. 

Activity Buses

Activity buses are provided Monday - Thursday. Parents are responsible for transportation on Fridays and after games.

6th Graders

Students in 6th grade are eligible to wrestle with the youth program at Blaine High School for no additional fee before, during, and after the middle school season. Please visit the youth page for more information and practice schedule.
